Hello all,

Story
Let me introduce why I am here.

I've worked in marketing area for 15 years. I really like this job and still need more challenge for 1~2 years.

About 15 years ago, I had a chance to meet a great joy of sailing which still led me with nice dream. It was only 6 months period, however, even with the short period of time, sailing gave me unforgettable memory.

In the last 5 years, I've always dreamed my 2nd life something with sailing related work. I used to think that I would do a small sailing house in southern island of my country teaching sailing & wind surfing to kids of my country.

Recently my dream was changed a bit. It is nice to give sailing lesson to dozens of kids in a small island, but it would be great if I provide my country with joy of sailing as much as possible. My country, including me, is still in infant stage of recreation boat area that means my country needs a lot of preparation such as infra, boat and education.

Now I am in planning stage for my 2nd life in detail.

In order to realize my dream, I thought that I need to be an expert of boat by learning boat building. I expect to learn lots of boat and shipyard works.

Questions
Here are the several questions I would like to here from you.

-Is it right way to learn boat building course taking 1~2 years in school for my case? (I am not pursuing professional boat builder, but pursuing to become knowledgeable on boat, boat builder and shipyard works.)
-If yes, where is the best place for getting knowledge and experience for me?
-If no, what shall I do to reach my goals?

I look forward to receive your advice which may contribute to provide joy of sailing to many children who never experienced before.
